Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and MeetFriends (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the MeetFriends platform, including all associated websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

MeetFriends provides an AI-powered conversational platform that connects users with AI personas representing various professional roles, including but not limited to general medicine, mental wellness, legal guidance, financial advice, fitness coaching, and nutrition counseling (each, an “AI Friend”).

The Service is powered by MeetFriends’ proprietary AI models. Conversations with AI Friends are generated automatically and do not involve real licensed professionals.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using MeetFriends, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service under any circumstances.

You must also have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract and must not be barred from receiving services under applicable law.

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately at legal@meetfriends.pro if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, pose a risk to the Service or other users.

AI Friends are not licensed professionals. They cannot diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, provide legal representation, manage your finances, or replace the care of a qualified practitioner.

Always consult a qualified professional before making any decision related to your health, legal matters, financial situation, or mental well-being. In a medical or mental health emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

MeetFriends expressly disclaims any liability arising from reliance on information provided by AI Friends.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm any person.
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or misuse the underlying AI models.
• Generate or distribute harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or illegal content.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Service.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our written consent.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including termination of access, for any violation of this section.

MeetFriends offers the following plans:

• Free Plan: Up to 10 messages per day, access to all AI Friends, file & image sharing, and conversation history at no charge.
• Pro Plan (Monthly): Unlimited messages, priority AI responses, and all Free features, billed at $19.99 USD per month.
• Pro Plan (Yearly): All Pro features billed at $178.99 USD per year (equivalent to approximately $14.91/month).

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis at the selected interval. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file at the start of each billing cycle. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated herein.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days’ written notice.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, AI personas, and software — are owned by MeetFriends or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant MeetFriends a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Stripe for payment processing. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. MeetFriends is not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEETFRIENDS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MEETFRIENDS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MeetFriends and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property disputes.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date, and where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
